LONDON TROCADERO

The recent High Court judgment in London Trocadero v Picturehouse has put a spotlight on the insurance premium calculations that sit beneath recharge calculations demanded by commercial landlords.

We’ll provide an overview of the case, consider the practical implications, and try to provide an answer to the question; when is (and isn’t) a landlord permitted to receive commission for placing your property insurance.
